We are proud to be the most visible fraternity house at Georgia Southern, located on the main artery into campus, along Chandler Road. After completing construction in July 2015, our Executive Board spent the inaugural year living in the most state-of-the-art fraternity house at Georgia Southern, and arguably the Southeast! Conveniently located less than a five-minute walk to the Russell Student Union for meals, books, and bus pick-up, as well as local nightlife.
Now in our second year, each of our seven house residents enjoy their own private bedroom AND private bathroom (you won't find that in any other house on campus)! Residents have their own, upstairs living room and secure laundry room to hang out with each other, when they don't want to hang out with the whole chapter downstairs. Five bedrooms upstairs, and two downstairs; each room has its own, unique dimensions and character. Rent is all-inclusive with cable, wi-fi, and utilities. Non-residents, as part of their semesterly dues, pay a "Parlor Fee" to be able to use the common areas freely.
Downstairs, all of our Chapter Members enjoy our large multi-purpose chapter room throughout the week in their leisure time, watching TV, playing video games, etc.; the space doubles as our formal Chapter Meeting room. We have a brand new residential kitchen, with separate refrigerators for the Chapter and the Residents. A private, resident-only hallway off the Chapter Room provides access to the downstairs residential bedrooms. Our Law Library provides an intimate setting for students and alumni to reconnect, surrounded by accolades won throughout the decades.
In addition to the interior spaces, our members enjoy two covered porches, a custom outdoor brick fire-pit, and half-court basketball area, with a private parking facility out back. For overflow parking, a short walk across to the Russell Student Union parking lot is easily accessible.
Our House Corporation Board of Directors took great measures to build a facility that would compete with the best apartment complexes in Statesboro, providing privacy, and yet also the on-campus and brotherhood experience that is nostalgic to the fraternity movement.
Honoring the men and women who gave of their time, treasure, and ability, several of our rooms are named in their honor, in addition to The Knight's Walk leading from the street to our front door, recognizing those who gave $500 or more across their lifetime to the GSU House Corporation. Each year we add a brick for those who have crossed this threshold of giving.
Check out the most recent photos below. Although the house is finished, donations are still necessary to sustain future capital improvements. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your continued support.
